Scooby

Scooby passed away on Feb 6, 2008 in his sleep; he was 17 years old.  He had a heart problem for which he was being treated for with medication for the past 8 months.
 
He was doing well on his meds, playing and enjoying his toys and walks.  Then he caught a cold, which with medication he got over but unfortunately, never really got back his strength.  He lived about a month longer after his cold went away.
 
Scooby was a rescue dog...he had been beaten up when he was a puppy.  It took time but he came to realize he would not be hurt ever again with us.  He became my shadow when I was home.  He always gave me that sad eye look when I was going out and not taking him with me.  Scooby loved car rides ... he would lie down in the back seat and just look contented as anything. 
 
He was my little boy... my baby.  He gave me so much more than I could ever have given him.  He trusted me wholeheartedly without question or doubt.
 
SCOOBY... I miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a precious boy! I lost my 17 yo Tootsie about 2 years ago. I'm sure they will be great friends at The Bridge! SylV
