Sammy Jo and Chauncey

These two babies were taken from me March 12, 2008 when they were attacked by a big dog. I
threw myself onto the large dog and pulled him backwards on me. Then my little dog Liddy jumped in to help me. Well, these little guys had all their ribs broken, lungs punctured and Chauncey's heart was hurt also. I rescued Sammy Jo in 1996, and Chauncey came from the Humane Shelter in 1995. He was nine months old. This is like my heart has been pulled from my chest. Sammy Jo had lots of health issues and even though I miss her a lot I know that she is playing and having no pain. She and Chauncey just couldn't be separated. Sammy Jo & Chauncey, mama misses you so very much and I know that we will be together again someday. |

I read your article and it made me cry. I am so sorry. I wish there was something I could say to make your pain a little less but I don't think there is anything to say. Just know that you and yours are in my thoughts. |

Your story made me cry. I have been losing my animals, slowly for the past 3 yeqrs and i t hurts like yesterday. I wish I could work with animals but I cannot stand the negative Thank you for sharing. |

Oh my God I am so sorry for what you have had to see and endure .......oh our tiny babies will do whatever it takes to protect us first...you are so brave...big dogs that look aggressive scare me soo much. I will think of them when I send love and kisses to my pets which have crossed before me.
