Dog Collars and Leashes: Is It Time for a Collar Upgrade for Your Dog?
387 Views | 5 Comments | | Dogs, Pet Care, Pet Safety | |
Collars and leashes are the type of thing that most pets have but few people actually notice. That could be for a variety of reasons but it seems that even chic leather dog collars can go unnoticed on some dogs. Consider the amount of money that you spend keeping your dog in these accessories, at least so far in your time together. Between his growth spurts and infrequent chewing habits, it can be difficult to keep your dog in collars, and keeping them in leashes is not much easier. If you are going to have to spend money on collars as it is, don't you think that your dog should have something more unique and extraordinary than they are already sporting? If you are one of those people that pride themselves in being outstanding or unique, it only stands that your dog should have at least some somewhat pleasing to the eye to choose from—even if only for those special occasions.
Getting the Perfect Collar for Your Pet It is not difficult to find the perfect collar and leash for your pet but if you aren't the type of person that likes to shop for their cat or dog then you may have a more difficult time choosing the fancy-enough but not too fancy dog collars and leashes. If your pet has had the same collar for a year or more, it is definitely time for a change and why not go for an upgrade? If designer dog collars are not your style, consider one of the many stylish, durable leather dog collars out there to choose from. Finding the perfect collar is about looking past the pet aisle in the supermarket—believe it or not; you may have to make an appearance in a pet store. Online shopping venues work well too, as there are many sites out there that specialize in upscale products for pets whose owners have decided to make a sophisticated change. Consider Going Designer! Many people question the point behind designer dog collars, but if you think about it there is no point to your having a designer wallet or handbag, or a designer tie or pair of shoes either. Having designer collars for your pet is about going that extra mile for them and making sure that they have everything top-notch, like you would like to have it if you had been born with four legs and a set of whiskers. Whether you decide to go with designer pet collars or just some type of normal unique dog collars out there the varieties really are endless. At this point, hopefully you agree that some faded, poorly fitted dog collar is just not good enough for your most loyal friend. Why not take things up a notch? |

I am looking for a leather double leash to walk two dogs with the coupling at the handle. I purchased this from a booth in a Pet Expo in Anaheim CA. I now live in AZ and cannot find a replacement . I have had it ten years and it needs to be repaired or ideally replaced. If you have a suggestion as to where I can find a replacement please email me at janet.tamburo@gmail.com. I have searched the web to no avail. Many thanks......JT |

i have 2 standard poodles who love to paly with each other, they both had collars on, not choke collars but safety collars, while they were rough playing bogey caught his tooth on bella's collar, and almost killed her, she passed out from being strangled, since then i don;t put collars on them while we are in the house, just when i take them for a walk, is there any kind of elastic collar that i can buy to keep on them since i have id's and their rabies tags on thieir collars, and if they should get out of the house they won't have any ids on them..thanks..Joy |

I love my dog, have always love those I had in the past. But I like to feel they love ME more by not making / having made them status statements. There are people living in cardboard boxes in this world...people without the basics of life...combat troops and vets from a few generations in need, and what some spend on senseless 'stuff' for them and their pets would go so so far in helping. |
