Hi! I don't have any experience with this product in particular... I looked it up and saw that it is based on grapes and tea? Grapes do have an ingredient that is toxic to dogs in high enough doses, but I'm sure they wouldn't have included anything toxic in this product, that would be crazy!!! Another somewhat "natural" product that your dog may benefit from is Phycox JS. It has an anti-inflammatory in it that has the same mechanism of action as Rimadyl (a very common arthritis medication for dogs) but it is made from a blue-green algae and doesn't have the side effects that Rimadyl can have. It also has glucosamine, MSM, fatty acids, other antioxidants, lots of goodies to help support joints (which is all our spine is, one joint after another!). I have used this product in my arthritic border collie, and he has definitely seen some benefit from it. I also give him additional fatty acids (in the form of omega-3 fish oils, just the human product, like 1000 mg or something), because the EPA in it is good for their joints, and it's also good for skin and alot of other things too!!! I'm a BIG believer in fatty acids, they are awesome! I take them myself!!! Just my two cents, hope it helps! |
