I think in the summertime chat is a hit or miss prospect.  I have seen chat busy and I have seen chat empty -- sometimes on the same night!

I was going to say the same thing. No one in the chat room. I guess you have to just keep checking back.

I've found people in the general chat room most times I've been there. Of course, they are not talking about animals, however.
I'd love to get a doggie chat going on a regular basis -- any times canine people are available????

I haven't been here in ages, but see things have changed - I don't even see an option for a chat room - where is that located?   Maybe that is why no one is there, you've found where it is & us .... well we'll just say "others" have not :)

Everyone who knows me, knows I LOVE to talk about my pets....but I don't have to talk about them all of the time.  I like the fact that we can go into chat and feel comfortable to talk about any topic. I've made some really good friends on this site.  The diversity is what keeps me coming back into chat.

I like to visit chat on the days Tammy is there (AATgal). She is so sweet and lovely and blonde and unavailable. Is that diverse enough for you Tam?

I'd like to respond to this a bit further...  One of the things that I like most about this site is our ability to talk about our animals.  If you are in the chat room long enough, you will find that each of us keep careful tabs on our friend's and new members pets.  We ask each other the latest stories, listen to each others ups and downs with potty training, and even provide support to each other in time's of sadness.   In fact, just recently, i lost one of my beloved pets, and the first place I turned was this very site, because I knew I could rely on people who shared my same love and passion for my fur babies.

If you are in the chat room enough, you will see this.  Yes, we have fun and we "cut up".  That's what makes the room fun.  To suggest that we should only talk about animals is unrealistic, because that is not life....and that is not how most friends talk.  Personally, I wouldn't expect such limitations on conversation.

Ranaes...why don't you give the chat room a try when there are many people in there.  I think you might find it to be a very positive, supportive experience as I have.

Again, I thank Dan and his staff for providing us with this opportunity and this site.  I know my pet experiences would have been much more lonely without Animal Attraction.  Hugs and kises to them all!

Tammy
