We love cats for that reason because they are so curious all of the time. To us they are more expressive than dogs hands down just not as loud. IWe had a wonderful cat by the name of Harvey and he was by far the most wonderful pet. He was a long haired a beautiful gray with two sets of claws he thought he was a human because we treated as though he was human. He would greet at the door you could hear him trough the door before we even got to the door . When we would go up the stairs he would run behind us but we had to separate as we would go up because he fly by us and jump on the bed to get closer to us he would sit on the corner of the bed and put his paw up to say HI. He by far as I said before was a wonderful cat. Actually he was my husband's cat but he loved me too but he was really close to my husband.
We lost him due to flees and I don't think we are still over his death but there was nothing we could do NOTHING and we tried everything and nothing worked.
We had a bird at the same time and he would never ever scare the bird or try to attack our bird he by far was a kindred soul and a wonderful pet.

He is a cute and wonderful cat as all ot them are, I think that cats make a better pet but of course I LOVE cats.

Anyone who knows cats has to love this. I always say if there was a soundtrack playing behind my cat's antics it would have to be the theme from Mission Impossible.

Now that is very typical behaviour by cats in the wild.
Stalking the unknown, simply to satisfy an innate curiosity. Obviously this cat saw the red light of the camera blinking or even heard a very quiet (sub-audio) sound, and wanted to investigate --- as cats are super detectives!
Not knowing EXACTLY what this "thing" WAS, like an intelligent CSI. ... slowly stalked it like a STATUE until it got close enough to actually SEE what IT WAS that was watching HIM/HER. After getting UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL, its curiosity was finally satisfied, so kitty high-tailed it outta there like a big SCAREDY-CAT. That was SOOOO feline funny! LOLOL =^..^=
