Luckily Ralph didn't use up all of his nine lives, but he certainly got himself into a pickle -- or rather a pickle jar!
"VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Curiosity didn't kill Ralph the cat, but it did get the feline stuck in a tight situation Sunday. Two men arrived at Vancouver Fire Station 85 on Sunday with a cat whose head was trapped in a Mason jar, reported television station KPTV in Portland, Ore."

Awwwwwwwwww! Poor Ralphie! What was he thinking!! I'll bet he won't do that again! Must have been scary for him.

Poor baby! I can't even image how scared he and his owners were! Of course they were laughing their 'tails' off when they told everyone about it...I would have been.
They are a source of joy and of anxiety, aren't they?

Several years ago, early in the morning, we happened upon a skunk who had stuck his head in a yogur cup and couldn't get it off. He was blundering around a parking lot, unable to see. My husband at a run grabbed the cup and kept running! The skunk was so happy to be free, he just ran off. I wish we had gotten a picture of that!
