| Jun 27 Written by:aajoanne Friday, June 27, 2008 As 'Groomer Has It' comes to a close, I was fraught with angst over how I was going to get my dog reality show fix. Imagine my relief when I realized the 'Greatest American Dog' premier is right around the corner!
In this new offering from CBS -- premiering July 10 -- twelve teams of dogs and their parents will compete in a variety of challenges to see who's the best trained pooch. The winners will get $250,000 and, of course, the right to be called 'Top Dog.' Learn More >> Tags: 7 comments so far...

Re: Who's Greatest American Dog
Be sure and keep your eyes on Star, the gorgeous Brittany. She is definitely a crowd pleaser. She is going to be a special guest with her Dog Dad, Bill, at the 2nd Annual Dog Daze of Summer Chili Cookoff held in Corsicana, TX, August 23rd. If you're in the area be sure and stop in for an upclose and personal visit with Star, finalist in the Greatest American Dog contest. You won't want to miss it.

Also watch out for Laurie with her maltese, Andrew! She was our trainer for a couple of years so we know her enthusiam for animals and her love of dogs first hand. Andrew is an amazing little dog with a big dog personality = )

Re: Who's the Greatest American Dog
Artist took the top prize last Saturday for best "Groomer". He was SO deserving! If you all missed this show on Animal Planet, try to catch on reruns. It was a little stupid at first, but was for a good cause, and gave help and homes to several dogs.
I think that Greatest American Dog has the potential to be much better...
