Re: Say 'I Do' to Helping Pets
I donate to my local Humane society, which is a no-kill shelter. The people there are wonderful. I know they work in conjunction with petfinder.com to place dogs and cats. This is a great organization to help with. Please everyone out there, try to give a little. It all adds up. If you can't donate money, just go to a local shelter and volunteer to walk dogs, play with cats, brush, bathe, or just take old towels, baby blankets, metal dog bowls, rawhides, milkbones, paper towels.
I go to yard sales and get used towels and baby blankets, used pet carriers. It's a great feeling to know you have helped and the shelters really appreciate it.
