Despite debuting at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show earlier this year, the Plott Hound is still relatively unknown to most dog lovers.
However the Plott has been the state dog of North Carolina since the 80s and has been running around the Smokey Mountains hunting bear for over a century. And as far away Asia, the Plott is renown as the world's toughest dog.

Where is the brindle? That's the trademark of all Plotts, the beautiful brindle coat. I have a brindle mountain cur, the muttley cousin of the Plotts.

I have a brindle that I resqued!! She is a love bug but very tough to take on walks. I live in an area of trees and nature. She goes nuts when we walk so I am trying to save up some money to make a large kennel area for her to do some running. She has issues with men and other dogs so I can not just let her run besides the fact that she takes off for the woods the couple times she has gotten away from me.
I would love to include a picture of my cute brindle but can not see a way for me to do that.
